My Grease Monkeys

Vincente has always loved to help Papai with his "moto." Here they are fixing it up this weekend so Pai could start driving it to work. It's only suiting that it would start getting rainy a few days after he got it fixed up. It's drizzling today, but it should be a little clear tomorrow, then rainy on the weekend. Maybe it'll be back to motorcycle weather by Monday. I hope so. I don't like not having a car... especially when it's rainy - makes me feel trapped!

On Monday night (when Pai and Vince fixed up the motorcycle), our FHE activity was taking a ride around the block on Pai's moto. Vincente sat in front, I sat behind, and I held on to Vince around Pai's waist. We just rode around the neighborhood, nothing too dangerous, but Vincente LOVED it. In fact, before we rode with Pai, Papai took it out by himself to check it out. As soon as Pai pulled away from the house, Vincente started saying "Come back!" so we could have a ride. Russ and I were both anxious about Vince riding again - he used to love to ride, but since Russ had been gone, was more afraid of the motorcycle, and wouldn't even sit on it when the engine was shut off. So this was a pleasant surprise. I should have snapped a picture after the ride, but we were all pretty chilly from the ride, so we went right inside to warm up.
