I’ve been dealing with some hard things lately since Vincente has become really really emotional and anxious about things. I just glanced over at my bookshelf on my desk and saw a book I was given at his baby shower. It’s called In Praise of Children and is just a little book of quotes about children. I opened it up, just because I don’t think I’ve ever opened the thing, and the first quote I saw was this:

Very, very true. Have you read Parenting with Love and Logic yet? Ann Marie recommended it to me a year ago and I LOVED it. I think it would fall right along with your parenting style.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a parent yet but this sounds great, if we never experience things we won't learn. That is sad though little Vince is having some rough times :( We miss you guys so much Becca! We pray for you guys every night! We do in the morning too but we are still working on the consistent morning prayer thing:) Anyway, I love the blog change, very cute! Oh, and aside from missing you guys terribly, we LOVE you so much! Stay happy and smile and enjoy the adventures of life as they come at ya! Give everyone a hug and kiss for us! ESPECIALLY Vincente!
